The Alpha® Marble Profile Wheel is designed to profile and cut marble tile in one pass, unlike most profile wheels that only perform the profile action. The 6” wheel, which fits tub and tile saws, has been a popular item with tile installers for years. They have found it to be the ideal tool for cutting and profiling tile baseboards. The long life and smooth cutting action are two other reasons for its popularity. With the introduction of the AWS-110 Wet Stone Cutter, Alpha® recognized an opportunity to create a more portable solution for transport to the job site and created the 3” wheel. The 3” size allows for better positioning of the saw handle, which leads to improved performance by reducing operator fatigue.
