Answer : Yes. Alpha® recommends the MP758HL for the PlasterKing Pad. The MP658HL can be used if the user wishes to have more flexibility to polish tight corners.

Answer : Alpha® has a plan to roll out 7” and 9” electroplated versions of PlasterKing pads in the winter of 2026.
Question : What is the difference between the MP758HL and PK710HH?
Answer : The arbor of the MP758HL is 5/8”-11 thread that will go on to the most popular polishers sold in the North American Market. The arbor of the PK710HH is an M10-1.25 Reverse Thread so that it will go on the spindle of weed cutters.
Question : Does Alpha® offer an electric polisher suitable for plaster polishing applications?
Answer : Yes. Since the PlasterKing pads are 7” diameter, Alpha® recommend using the BMP-700 with a wet polishing kit.
Question : Can I use the VSP-320 Electric Wet Polisher with PlasterKing pads?
Answer : No. Alpha® recommends the VSP-320 polisher for up to 5” diameter polishing pad.
Question : Does Alpha® offer any polisher I can use under water?
Answer : Yes. Alpha® offers the AIR-680UW that is designed for underwater polishing applications. You can use it with a portable air compressor or scuba tank with regulator since most of underwater polishing application is short.
